Seriously. Where have we been? Our blog does not get enough attention. I guess it's because i'm more involved with updating our flickr site and Facebook page, plus i'm constantly pushing through the back log of illustrations linked to an impending due date. But today, in order to procrastinate on those items of importance a little further, our blog is going to get a very small douse of needed love.

We just got back from Vegas where we were exhibiting at the Pooltradeshow . We're completely excited about all the new stores we met from around the world and how they soon will be carrying Slow Loris shirts! Stay tuned for an updated store list.

We've had a nice amount of snowfall over the past couple days here on Guemes. We don't get snow that actually sticks very often, so when we do it's exciting to enjoy before it seems to inevitably melt in the 48 hours that follow.

And one more thing~ We started a contest on our slow shirts facebook page. All we're asking of you is to comment in the thread and let us know what Slow Loris Shirts you own. At least once a month (maybe more?!) we're drawing from the names and sending out prizes. The first prize we gave away was an iphone 4 case that had our treehouse design on it. We have a whole slew of cool things to give away and decided to keep the thread open and raffle off something every month. It's been really fun for both Arlo&I to read over design names we've long since forgotten.

Check the contest out HERE -join in & comment too if you want to enter! We'll be giving out hoodies, one of a kind testprint shirts, books, artwork, screen prints and more.

Hope everyone is having a happy New Year, we love and thank you for your support!

Much LOVE,

Team Slow

Similar to the items that accumulate on my dining room table,
spelling out what's been happening in my life,

here's a mini pictorial of what's been going on around Slow loris.

Writing seems to come in second to taking photos and drawing these days.
But a picture is worth a thousand words,
so these should more than catch me up
for the last two months i've been lagging on blog posts.

Island ride screen print, edition of 20

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Printing stalled this morning due to wacky spray job & a lack of penetrating light.

So aggravating when your screens are coated & dried all good n' ready to burn
and somehow you screw it up with dripping over-spray
and a film that isn't transparent enough.

Up next, take two!

Dirty old boat dress in New colors.
Sizes M-XL available!

Urban Craft uprising was so much fun!
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us this past weekend!

Friday, July 09, 2010

No more digging for shirts in bins, we made the perfect shelf for vending at fairs! Board ends slide into slots we cut in the milk crates. Milk crates stay firmly stacked together. Totally mobile and sturdy. Oh sweet sweet love. Ours backs will be happy.
See you at Urban Craft Uprising this weekend!
